What does UPF 20 mean? Only about 1 in 20 UV rays gets through this fabric — compare that to a typical cotton tee at around UPF 5. And because honest numbers matter to us, we test finished garments at independent certified labs, not just fabric swatches. These prints tested at UPF 20–25.

A dermatologist's tip from our founder: UPF 20 is great everyday play protection. For all-day, high-exposure adventures, add sunscreen underneath. Machine wash cold, hang dry to keep the protective weave at its best.
